A couple weeks back we celebrated the opening of a new business at 64 Summer Street. The Dog Days Cafe (Phone: 413-441-5915) features environmentally friendly pet products including: a line of hemp collars, dog beds stuffed with recycled materials, beautifully hand made water and food bowels, toys, and more. They also carry Northwest Naturals, a complete raw diet, that is much easier to deal with than other raw foods we’ve seen because it comes in cube form. They also carry Petcurean dry dog food, holistic suppliments, and organic treats.
The Dog Days Cafe offers self-serve and “we wash” dog bathing service. They also offer Happytails Spa Products. Their bathing area is so nice I wouldn’t mind taking a bath there.
In cooperation with the Berkshire Humane Society, The Dog Days Cafe is also collecting and distributing free pet food to those having trouble feeding their pets durring these difficult economic times. You are encouraged to donate pet food there or at the Adams Berkshire Visitors Center. The Dog Days Cafe is so warm and friendly they really make you feel right at home.
